OVERVIEW
Few if any boats this size offer the comfort and spaciousness of the Endeavour 42. She's well built, sails nicely, and offers luxurious accommodations. Her high-aspect masthead sloop rig provides the drive to move the boat well in light or heavy air. SNOWFLAKE's owners are the boat's second owners. Purchased with the aim of taking her south, they have thoughtfully and continually upgraded her, giving her loving care over the past 16 years. SNOWFLAKE was equipped for cruising, with much redundancy in systems. In 1999 a Northern Lights 6.2 KW generator with hushbox was installed, delivering 110 volts and providing power for the 24,000 BTU air conditioning and coldplate refrigeration systems. A 12 volt Adler Barbour refrigeration unit keeps the icebox cold when the generator isn't running. Electric genoa sheet winches make sheet handling a breeze. An Icom SSB allows for medium-to-long range voice or digital communications with other mariners, or when operated by a licensed ham, with land-based stations. It also has the capability to provide weatherfax data. In 2011 a brand-new 74 hp Yanmar diesel was installed. It has only 316 hours. SNOWFLAKE's owners did have the good fortune to take her south one winter. She is ready to make the trip again in comfort. She is as neat as a pin and as clean as a whistle. ACCOMMODATIONS
Sleeps 8. Forward cabin with V berth, shelves above, port and starboard, and storage below. Enclosed head with separate shower stall next aft to port with access from either main or forward cabin. Two hanging lockers opposite head to starboard. Main cabin next aft with settees port and starboard. Both settees pull out to form double berths. Centerline teak table with two leaves. Nav station aft to starboard. Galley aft to port along walkway to aft cabin. Aft cabin features a centerline queen-size berth with ensuite head with separate shower stall. 24,000 BTU Marine Air 110 volt two-zone air conditioning system. Teak and holly cabin sole.
