From: Mike Sneath MikeSneath@worldnet.att.netWe have a 35.5 Endeavour, 1984. Several of the drawer pull handles are broken. Does anyone know of a place to obtain replacements?

From: Nathaniel Pierce npierce@bluecrab.orgI also have a 1984 35' 5" Endeavor. I purchased some handles some years ago. I think they came from: Defender,
their item: 650611,
Model: 50126M,
page 87, 2000 catalogue. However, you might want to double check this. If this isn't it, let me know and I'll research my files.

From: Joe Svoboda joesvoboda@prodigy.netThere is a company called Thai Teak Marine http://www.thaiteakmarine.com that has exact same drawer pulls for our 1984 E35. Besides being inexpensive, they seem to have other items that Endeavour may have used and that owners would be interested in. They have an online catalog and a wide variety of products that they sell to boat manufacturers, and best of all you can buy direct from them.

From: Carl Hibbard Chgypsy@aol.comMy E37 uses 21 of them. Does your boat use a recessed teak pull handles 4" long, with half circle ends. Perhaps you have a broken one or two (I did).
In removing one of the broken ones, which was glued and stapled into the recess on the drawer front I found that there was a logo and a 138 on the back of the handle. The logo wound up being AFI which is a still active brand of wood products out of Pittsburg, CA. 800.995.1223
The original AFI display unit had one of our handles and it was labeled 138 (I took it off to look) so theres one if you can find a display. AFI changed their numbering system a while back and the new number is a 60138. Lots of calls later I was able to find 9 of them at M&E marine and bought them all. Then called AFI who said they were not producing any more of that number at that time. That particular pull handle is the only one that fits the routed out opening on the drawer front.
It would appear that a bulk order would have to be initiated to produce additional ones. How many folks need handles? Do any of them want to try an order?
It would appear that all of the Endeavours used that particular handle and thats a lot of potential. How many other brands, I don't know.
