E40 Prop

I am trying to find out what is the best three blade fixed prop for an Endeavour 40 center cockpit, sloop rig. I had the specs for the boat calculated by the prop supplier is San Diego and they recommended a three blade 17 x 15. The owners manual for endeavour says a three blade upgrade for the boat is 17 x 16. If anyone out there has upgraded to a three blade fixed prop please let me know. I want to buy the right prop the first time.

I have a fixed three blade prop on our E-40 c/c sloop....and it sits in the bilge awaiting the "call" that I hope never comes. The previous owner (wisely) had installed a three blade,feathering Martec prop, 19 x 14 size...and it provides *plenty* of power in forward, GOBS of power in reverse. And very little resistance when under sail. I wouldn't have anything else. It's a $$$ acquisition though.... YMMV, etc.
