E37 Engine Vibration

My boat is a 1983 E37, with a Westerbeke 27 with 3 motor mounts. There seems to be some vibration because of this, has anyone solved this problem. thanks

Hello Ed,
Be willing to bet that you have a shaft alignment problem. The three mount vs four mount statements tend to be blarney. If your boat has a three blade prop it will have more vibration too.
About the only thing that I know will alleviate a lot is one of the flexable couplings between the shaft and the back of the trans. It will also save the trans rear bearings. Regards.
