Hi Paul,
Could you please help me find out how the bow light (green/red) is wired on an E40. Maybe someone has a wiring diagram.

In regards to the bow running light wiring, On FIA #1 -E-40, they ran the wires inside the top starboard raill of the pulpit. It goes down the the aft leg and thru the toerail into the forward chain/rope locker then back to the panel. If Ute would be so kind as to e-mail me his boat name and Hull ID # , I will add it to my list. I Hope that helps. I''ll let you know how much fun it is to remove the pulpit and forward stem plate after the first of the year. Have to have some welding done on both and they have to br removed for that.. A project I'm not looking forward to.

Judi & Dave,
Thanks for your response. We replaced our bow pulpit with a new one from Top in Quality located in MI, refered to by Paul and the E-site. We are very satisfied with the results and have now installed pulpit and lights. We traced the wiring into the chainlocker and found a break. Now everything works. It looks like the wires run from engine, behind galley, accross chain locker to pulpit. Still would be good to have wiring scamatics.

PS, bolts holding the bow pulpit down don't have nuts on them. Nut can be installed but it's a bear to replace them because you have to reach between hull and rope locker. Lots of Luck.
