Boat Review/Upgrades:
As has been reported in other forums, the 42 has some weahter helm, however it is not a big problem and can be eased significantly with reefing and trim. She responds well to the helm and tacks with ease, unlike similar sized Out Ilands.

She is a more than adequate Live Aboard Cruiser. We have had her in salt water for most of her life and like most of the other 42s she developed the classical fuel tank syndrome, We replaced the tank with a built in fiberglass tank at the Oxford Boat Yard, Oxford, Maryland. I highly recommend them to those of you who have not had the problem yet.
