Boat Review:
Since the vessel is a very recent purchase. Our hull is # 437 So far, lots of room, moves well on all points of sail, very stable platform, rock solid engine, eats up choppy seas, slight weather helm which can be tuned out, backing in a crouded marina on a river with current and wind can get "interesting".

The only "problem" we've encountered thus far is with the fresh water tank, a 100 gallon monster located directly over the keel. After 16 years, the lower welds failed and the tank became immediately "self-draining." I would imagine that this problem is likely to be creeping up on other owners. Unfortunately, if corrosion of the aluminum is too far along, the only alternative is to replace the tank (about $500.00!). We're going with aluminum again, although we'll try to barrier coat the tank with something before reinstalling. Stainless would have been nice, but the cost was prohibitive (more than double that of aluminum...) Also, we've renamed the boat. In my brief review submitted earlier, the vessel is listed as "Obsession." Her "new" name is "FOREVER"... (get it...forever, endeavour..ha, ha...) Of course, the dink will be named "...and always."
