Previous Owner History:
Previous vessel name Papillon, out of Hilton Head, South Carolina.
Previous owner lived aboard with family for several years. As such this vessel did not see a great deal of sailing. Vessel is in Average condition.

Your Sailing Experience:
Learned on "Cats" off of Kiawa Island, South Carolina. Have been sailing for 15 years on and off. Purchased a much smaller boat then the "Seas the Dream", and was bitten once more by that !sailing bug. After looking over the market I fell in LOVE with the style of the Endeavour 37.

Boat Review:
As this is a new boat to myself, I don't know if I can "let it rip". This vessel is somewhat heavy vessel by today's standards, however, that is one of the reasons that I purchased it. I plan some blue water in the future and the keel design coupled with the displacement of this vessel should do nicely in moderate to heavy seas. The trade off of course is the poor performance going to weather. Hull design speed indicates 7.3 knots. This is a speed of which I have yet to obtain. On a positive note, this vessel is one rare Endeavour. It is my understanding from the former owner, that this is the only 37 Endeavor to come out of the factory with round bronze portlights with tempered glass. This really sets this vessel off! Another issue is pulling hard to starboard when backing up. I haven't had too much opportunity to experiment with this aspect, however rest assured that I will. In reading the forum letters, I understand that this is common in Endeavours. Below decks all I can say is WOW!! The craftmanship demonstrated in the cabinetry is sadly lost to the "new" boats of today. The varnished teak is a comfort to be around. In closing let me say that both my wife and myself are truly pleased with this vessel and we look forward to many enjoyable journeys that await us.

As to below decks, all I can say is WOW!! Endeavor's have earned the well respected opinion of CRAFTSMANSHIP.
