Boat Review:
Great boat. Heavy, which makes you feel safe in a blow. The helm is a little hard, but not too horrible. We've got a salt water encrusted baby, so havn't had the guts to trust the fuel tank, or its contents. The hot water heater is just a rusted shell. We bought the boat in Naples,FL where it had sat for years with no ventilation. The tropical humidity has destroyed the glue that holds down the teak parquet flooring. Almost all of the Beckson lenses are cracked or have broken ears. Interested in the new rain-drain ports, or if I win the lottery, stainless ABI ports. Glad that this forum exists for these boats so that we can help each other fix em' up. Getting ready to re-vamp the interior with T+G Ash and teak, but first I've got to deal with my leaky ports.
