Boat Review/Upgrades:
Comfortable, solid, beautiful and safe hull, good cabin layout except kitchen and quarter berth. great storage and equipment access. simple riggings. decks easy to climb around on and are safe. poor ventilation. Water tank inaccessible for filling, difficult to restore surface after years of growing mold. extreme weather helm. boat heels quickly but won't go over. in winds over 25 knots the boat virtually stalls in the water due to rudder braking. rudder vulnerable to catching lobster pot lines. cockpit layout spacious but difficult to access controls due to diameter of wheel. welds on safety rail stancions constantly breaking. no hand hold to go forward from cockpit when dodger is raised. nav station more desireable than aft quarter berth. galley next to companionway leads to unhealthy mix of foot traffic with food.
