A fine example of this popular American cruising yacht.  In excellent overall condition and fully equipped for liveaboard blue water sailing.

'S/V Consort' is currently located in the beautiful Guatemalan Rio Dulce and she will be sailed up to Florida in March 2013 if not previously sold.  During the last 7 years the current owners have sailed 14,000 miles to all corners of the Caribbean including South and Central America.

The present owners have invested much time and money maintaining and improving this yacht during their 7 year ownership. Consort is ready to cruise anywhere in the world, and with her 8KVa Kohler generator, 630 AHr battery bank (new 2012), Fourwinds generators, solar panels, and heavy duty watermaker she is perfectly equipped to operate far away from shore-side support.

SALOON
The starboard settee extends to provide a small double berth if required. Both settees are fitted with oversized (6'') foam mattresses and covered with 'ultrasuede' which provides excellent protection against accidental spills. Both settees provide comfortable sea berths at the foot of the companionway steps and both have canvas lee cloths fitted.

A teak box/picture frame conceals the 15'' TV and is comfortably viewed from both settees.

On the starboard side of the passageway forward, the existing hanging locker has been modified to provide extra storage above. All hanging lockers are cedar-lined and have internal lights.

'Marine Air' AC Unit (16,000 Btu) with spillover to V-berth

The Hi-Fi system is contained in a locker on the starboard side. It is connected to selectable stereo speakers in all 3 cabins and the cockpit

In addition to the fixed windows (plexiglass replaced and structure strengthened in 2007) the main cabin has 3 opening hatches and 2 Caframo 12v fans

Nav Station
The Nav Station is well positioned at the foot of the companionway on the starboard side. The boat can be navigated from below or in the cockpit. The nav table can take a half-size Admiralty Chart  (paper charts for the entire Caribbean included in the sale) and the table lifts to reveal a storage area for nav instruments and firearms if that is your chosen way of dealing with pirates!

Custom hard sunshade (bimini) constructed of fibreglass with integral insulation covering the whole cockpit.  Ladder access from both sidedecks and 6 solar panels on top.

Sunbrella/plexiglass sprayhood (dodger) with liftable centre panel.
Side-panels are easily rolled up but can provide complete protection when sailing into wind.

Aft panels are also available for the rear of the bimini, and a complete enclosure is provided when all panels are in place
