Endeavour 42 Prop Shaft

Date: October 28, 2016
Email: Phil Mullins

I would like to sell the SS shaft that I bought incorrectly for my E42. It measures 1.25" x 42.5" long with a tapered end. It is made out of AT stainless, an upgrade from the standard, and I paid $580.00 for it. I would be willing to sell for $225 plus $30.00 freight to an east coast destination.

The diameter and taper are correct for all E42s BUT the 42.5" length is for E42's with the original Westerbeke or Perkins engines. Endeavour 42s that have the Yanmar auxilliary (mine) use a 44.75" long prop shaft. Nevertheless, I would advise any purchaser to measure their old shaft before buying. The Endeavour Owners Group has compiled the following data in an attempt to match E42 prop shaft lengths to the numerous installed auxilliaries in this Google doc.

Endeavour 42 Prop Shaft:
1.25" x 42.5"
Stainless Steel
New

Fits the Following Auxilliaries:
Westerbeke
Perkins
* I would advise any purchaser to measure their old shaft before buying

Original cost was nearly $580.00

Asking: $225 + shipping

Please feel free to call with any questions.
Thanks!
