Installing a Windlass on an Endeaovur 43

I own a 1984 E38 and am considering installing an anchor windlass this coming spring and would like to hear from other owners. Specifically I'd like to know what the optimum location on the foredeck is, if the deck needs reinforcement, other problems you encountered or words of wisdom, photos, etc.

I added a bowsprit and then added a Lewmar H3 Windlass onto the bowsprit.

I built mine into the front anchor locker
I used fiberglass matt reinforcement over starboard and It has serviced me well.
WE put a horizontal shelf in and glassed it to the hull.
Its so strong. We used a Lewmar windlass.
