Whisker Poles?

From: Ed Yusis Yusise@aol.comNice page. I have a 37 foot cutter rigged made in 1977. My wife and I have been living aboard for a little over a year and enjoy the boat. The boat has two large Poles ( Whisker ??) that are attached to the mast on a movable track. I am still trying to figure how they are supposed to work. Otherwise the cutter rig works very well. We have the layout ( I forget if it is A or B ) that is supposed to have the table fold down into a large bed and aft cabin. Our table has been converted into the type that folds up against the mast, so we have quite a bit of walking area in the boat. Your page is very nice, shows quite a bit of planning and work.
